I’ve a recent convert to tofu litter and I think it is absolutely amazing! This litter, however, is dusty. While it has all of the other positive aspects of the other tofu litters that I have tried, (less tracking and great absorption) the dust is obvious in the litter pan.The pic is the bottom of our litter pan and I’ve moved ved the litter to one side so that the dust that has settled at the bottom is revealed.Maybe if I didn’t have a kitty with asthma it wouldn’t be a big deal. I won’t order this particular tofu litter again because of the dust.I’m not sure if it was supposed to smell like coffee or not but it doesn’t smell like coffee but it doesn’t have an odor at all so that’s okay.
A little pricy but worth it. There is no dust from litter and does not track. My cat enjoys digging in the litter so it is not painful to his paws. Odor is covered up by coffee grounds. It is easy to clean out urine because it clumps well.
I switched from the Breeze litter system to automatic litter boxes, but my cats refused to use clay litter. Since one of my automatic boxes works with clumping pellet litter, I tried Pidan because it came highly recommended. So far, it's been great. Dust is minimal, odor control is excellent, and it clumps well for use in an automatic litter box. In a regular litter box, the clumps tended to break apart when scooping, but overall I'm very happy with it and my cats adapted to it easily.
i’ve been on a journey to find the best litter ever, and my quest ended with this product. i’ve been using this litter for over a year now. it is great quality for the price! my house never has that ammonia pee smell and the dust is minimal. clumps well and keeps the pee odor at bay. doesn’t do so well covering pooh odors though. there is a little tracking, but the small pieces aren’t as annoying to step on as the little rock’s of clay litter. it’s safe for my cats to lick this off their paws and i could even flush this litter if i trusted the pipes in my home, which i don’t. but do you and your cats a favor and switch to this non toxic litter option that actually works!
Simply the best cat litter I’ve ever purchased. After over 25 years of cat ownership, we have finally found the perfect cat litter. It’s worth the price due its high effectiveness, low tracking, low odor, low dust, and high clumping ability.Add to that its environmental benefits and overall performance makes this a cat owner’s dream!
Scoop-able, flushable and extremely low dust litter.
Excelente, ya llevo tiempo usándola y a sido la única que me gusta, no olores y es orgánica
Love this litter, no dust, clumps very well, cat doesn’t have any issues with it. Great quality, especially like that is eco friendly. Absorbs odors!
I love this litter, I’ve been purchasing for about 1 year and a half now, and it’s the best. Wish it was a little cheaper since I have 3 cats, but it’s dust free, easily clumping, and keeps the smell under control 😁.
Esbueno no hule la pipi de mi gato 🐱
Product works great just as described. Easy to scoop. I soul's recommend it to anyone with a cat or cats at home.
The pieces are a bit too big for my sifting litter box, and they hold the litter together a lot worse than the vanilla version (I got this because the other one was out of stock). Otherwise, pretty much the exact same, and masks the smell effectively.
I thought the original Pidan litter was the best but after 20 or so bags of this one (2 cats) I can confidently say it’s this one. The odor control is unmatched and the bentonite helps it dry a bit faster and not stick as much. My only critique is that it still tracks. Not as much as traditional litter but it’s definitely noticeable considering the size and color or the litter particles. It is pricey but it’s worth it when you have people over and they don’t know you have cats.
This tofu cat litter has worked very well for us. It has no noticeable odor, which helps keep the area fresh. We also mixed it with another litter from the same brand, and the transition was smooth with no issues. Our cat showed no changes in behavior and adjusted perfectly. Overall, a good option if you're looking for a low-odor, easy-to-use litter.
This stuff works well its light weight and has a decent smell, works great when mixed with clumpable litter
Absolutely incredible. Also really expensive but honestly it lasts longer than my previous litter which was your standard clay litter. And there's no smell, like literally none and I got a stinky girl. The only thing that is a little bit of a downside is it does track, quite a lot in fact. But is it's easy to clean up because it's not dust that's tracking or tiny little bits. It's also so much easier to clean the litter box because it doesn't stick to everything. I did get a new litter scoop with much bigger holes which I highly recommend as it makes things much easier. The price is a bit uncomfortable, but honestly I think that overall, with how long it lasts compared to my prior litter, the price isn't quite as crazy as it seems.
After trying several types of cat litter over the years, I recently switched to tofu litter, and I have to say—I'm impressed. Here's a breakdown of my experience based on key factors:**🔹 Value for Money:**Tofu litter tends to be a bit pricier upfront than traditional clay options, but the quality and performance make it well worth the cost. It lasts longer than I expected, which actually helps offset the higher price. A single bag goes a long way, especially if you scoop regularly.**🔹 Litter Quality:**The texture is soft and low-dust, which makes it gentler on my cat’s paws and much better for our indoor air quality. It’s lightweight but doesn’t scatter as much as I feared, and the pellets are consistent in size and shape.**🔹 Clumping:**This is where tofu litter really shines. It forms tight, solid clumps quickly, which makes scooping incredibly easy. The clumps don’t fall apart or get mushy like some other natural litters I’ve tried, which is a big win.**🔹 Odor Control:**For a natural product, the odor control is surprisingly effective. It neutralizes urine smell well, and even after a few days, there's no overwhelming ammonia odor. It might not completely block strong smells from feces, but with regular scooping, it’s more than adequate.**🔹 Absorbency:**Excellent absorbency—liquids are soaked up fast, and I never find pools at the bottom of the box. It’s especially helpful in multi-cat households or for cats that urinate more frequently.**🔹 Overall Quality:**The overall quality is top-notch. It’s eco-friendly, flushable (if your plumbing allows it), and made from natural ingredients. My cat took to it right away, which is always a good sign.**Final Verdict:**If you're looking for a high-quality, sustainable litter that performs well across the board, tofu litter is a solid choice. It offers great clumping, odor control, and absorbency while being gentle on your cat and the environment. A bit more expensive, yes—but absolutely worth it for the benefits.
First, to describe the problem — he is a 13 lb polydactyl tabby cat with diabetes and other digestive issues. He is on three different medications, and he is lucky that we were stupid enough to adopt him. The diabetes causes him to drink copious amounts of water, which then causes copious amounts of pee. We have been searching for a litter solution. The clay based litter becomes sludge. The stirring silica type just couldn’t keep up with the amount of liquid we are talking about. The corn version had soiled litter strewn all over my house (maybe due to the polydactyl paws). Is this litter perfect? No, but it seems to be at least a partial solution to the problem. I have become a mixologist of litter. I am now using a blend of 3 types trying to mitigate the litter box issues. I use a layer of silica layer on the bottom, some of the “hardball” in the middle, and then this as the majority to fill the box. With the amount of urine this cat produces, we are also having to add supplemental litter as the clumps are massive. This litter has helped, doesn’t stink to high heaven, and is light and easier to handle. Cons: it isn’t cheap, and we use a lot. The cat costs a fortune. If any of this situation resonates with you, you should try a blend of this and see if you can improve your quality of life.
